Question by : How important are accounting/finance skills for marketing managers?

I am currently studying a Marketing major at university. I’ve been reading and hearing lately that skills in accounting and finance are crucial for senior positions in marketing, for things such as customer profitability. How important are such skills for a job in marketing, and is it possible to get by with minimal/basic knowledge of finance etc? Willing to hear from people currently in the marketing profession please.

Accounting is a very important subject. I believe that it is possible to get by with basic accounting knowledge for a certain period of time, but the lack of accounting knowledge will eventually catch up to you.

And I am not surprised by what you read. Accounting is very crucial for any business related position.

I’m looking for good universities that offers bachelor degrees in Web design or Graphic Design… out of the united states and inside both work for me. State universities rather than private are preferred, but you can tell me both.

I am 24. I play guitars (advanced) and the piano. I am good at programming and puzzle solving. I am pretty much everything a perfect computer geek needs to be. I am planning to start off a company before which I will need to get a feel of how marketing works on the internet. I would like to create niche blogs but I don’t see where I should start and what topic would be ideal for me. Could you suggest a way for me to get things going.

For healthy recipes VISIT: www.MissReece.com I’m tired of reading all of these false diets and false weight loss tips that are NOT ideal for real people. Real people have jobs, not enough time to workout, and cannot spend money on all of these phony fad diets. I lost over 21 pounds and am still losing without dieting. I started focusing on losing weight last year a little before September of 2011. It took a few months to get into a fully focused mode. When I focused I lost the weight! I didn’t gain weight because I was eating bad. When I moved to New York it became extremely difficult to work out because the lifestyle is so different here as opposed to LA where I hike everyday. I didn’t do it with a diet or pills and I was able to keep my curves. It’s been a fun transformation for me. I had a “make under” 6 weeks ago, a breast reduction. I haven’t been able to work out, because of it I had to learn to adjust my eating to maintain the weight I have lost which is what motivated me to share my journey in these wight loss blogs. This first blog I discuss protein shakes, bars, cooking and the unfortunate Hollywood pressure many women suffer which makes them want to get skinny or alter their bodies to fit in. Get healthy not skinny! I have also added a few before and after pics. I know those are always helpful. I hope you enjoy my series of weight loss blogs. This is one of many to come

Question by : Is laser teeth whitening better at making the teeth white as compared to the trays?

I had the trays once but they didnt make the entire tooth white, as if the product didnt cover the entire tooth, it wasnt uniform. will the laser (i think its laser), the one time whitening be better at making the teeth all white?

Well, I’m getting closer and closer to graduating but I’m confused on what to take in college.i wanna be a web designer.what courses should i take. i wanna make the websites i make interactive attractive and great and also have fun doing it. but it looks like i should take both web designing and graphic design or what ever.

Web Designing ( is for designing for web applications ) i.e websites its color, page height and length, text and the look of the web page and so on. But then graphic design is designing animation cartoons or editing a photograph of abraham Lincoln into color and doing other stuff.
